Humanitarian demining includes the following stages and services:

  1. Non-technical survey (NTS): collection of data that helps to identify areas of potential danger, identifying areas where mines and unexploded ordnance may be present.

  2. Technical survey (TS): collecting (confirming) direct evidence of the presence of explosive objects on the territory using technical means, analyzing the data obtained to prepare proposals for prioritizing the unblocking of such territories by conducting demining (clearing).

  3. Manual demining of territories – searching and detecting mines and other UXOs using metal detectors and probes, removing them and creating conditions for the safe use of the demined (cleared) territory by the beneficiaries.

  4. Clearing the area of hostilities – detection of explosive objects by visual inspection of the territory or using explosive ordnance detection equipment.

  5. Mechanical demining of territories – search and detection of mines and other explosive objects using mechanical means, their removal and creation of conditions for the safe use of the demined (cleared) territory by beneficiaries.

  6. Informing the local population about safety and danger.
